Service Manager - Metro DC Area

REPORTS TO:

PROPERTY MANAGER

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

Works directly with the Property Manger to ensure that all maintenance issues are addressed and completed; handles service requests and general maintenance requests for the apartment community; oversees team of technicians. Able to work well with others and motivate your team as well as be highly organized and know how to prioritize. You must be customer service oriented.

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • General knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, appliances, and HVAC and be able to make repairs to various systems/li>
  • Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of how to manage a budget
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds or more
  • Ability to follows instructions from management and ability to direct and instruct maintenance team
  •  

    Credentials And Experience:

    High school diploma preferred. At least two years experience preferred in property maintenance or as a maintenance technician or related experience.
