New York - COMMERCIAL PROPERTY MANAGER
Position Summary
We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill a full time commercial property manager position for a commercial building in Manhattan. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a property manager in commercial buildings and possess superior leadership, management, and communication skills. They will also have a proven track record of successfully increasing NOI by executing the following job functions:
- Manage lease administration, tenant/client relations and tenant improvement coordination.
- Manage the onsite leasing staff to implement a sales and marketing program that increases rents.
- Manage the onsite maintenance and administrative staff to increase tenant satisfaction.
- Review contracts, service providers, vendors, staffing, and repair/maintenance practices to indentify expense reductions.
- Understand the property’s physical plant to maintain a preventative maintenance program and effectively handle repairs.
- Work with senior management in executing the property’s capital program and dealing with new capital needs.
- Work with senior management to prepare and maintain operating and capital budgets.
- Prepare short and long term business plans that consider revenue drivers, expense reductions, capital budgets, staffing requirements, resident satisfaction, and market positioning.
- Work with senior management as required to interface with and report to investors and lenders.
