New Year's Eve Firework and Celebration

Friday December 30, 2016
There are many New Year's Eve events happening in the City.

1. Third Annual Coney Island New Year's Eve Celebration

Ring in 2017 at the Third Annual Coney Island New Year's Eve Celebration! Enjoy live entertainment, sideshow performances, free rides and free ice skating beginning at 6:00 p.m. and fireworks show off the beach and boardwalk at midnight!

2. Midnight Run and Fireworks at Central Park

The fun begins at 10:00 p.m. with a rocking dance party at Rumsey Playfield for runners and their guests. Stop by the face painting station to add a finishing touch to your festive look, then add your New Year’s resolution to our Resolution Wall for all to see.

3. New Year's Eve Fireworks: Prospect Park 150

Join the Prospect Park Alliance and Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams for this annual fireworks celebration, this year with a twist! Help us kick off the commemoration of the park's 150th anniversary with more fireworks fun, live music, and more. Locations for viewing the fireworks include Grand Army Plaza, the park’s West Drive, and along Prospect Park West between Grand Army Plaza and Ninth Street.
