STELLAR MANAGEMENT’S 285,000 Square-Foot Swingline Building Now Fully Leased
New York, NY – February 13, 2013 – 2012 proved to be yet another successful year for Stellar Management and its Swingline Building in Long Island City. With over 90,000 square feet of leased space signed in 2012, the 285,000 square-foot industrial mecca located at 32-00 Skillman Avenue is now fully occupied.
“The lease-up of Stellar Management’s Swingline Building, which includes a variety of inventive companies, is a testimony to both the appeal of Long Island City to the creative industry, as well as to the growth and development of the neighborhood as a whole,” said, Adam Roman, Chief Operating Officer of Stellar Management. “The Swingline Building, with its large, open floor plans is tremendously appealing to companies who are in need of a spacious work environment.”
Earlier this year, Taylor Company, a national company who will have a printing & showroom facility on the site, and Visual Marketing Partners, a full-service marketing group, signed leases for more than 40,800 square-feet of combined space on Swingline’s third floor. Most recently, Stellar Management inked a ten-year deal in November with film and television prop rental company, Prop n Spoon, for 45,165 square feet of industrial space also on the building’s third floor, marking the full lease-up of the building.

The Swingline Building, formerly the headquarters of the Swingline Stapler Company, is a three story industrial office building featuring 14-foot ceilings, heavy power,spacious floor plans, and 3 oversized freight elevators. Swingline, which was purchased by Stellar Management more than ten years ago, is located on the corner of Queens Boulevard to Skillman Ave and Van Dam Street to 32nd Place in Long Island City, and is in close proximity to Manhattan’s 7 subway line.
