Enclave Silver Spring Gets $65 Million Makeover
Apartment Community Repositioned for
Employment Growth in East Montgomery County
Silver Spring, MD (October 2008) – The owner of the Enclave Silver Spring apartment complex has completed an extensive renovation of its 1,119-unit community in Silver Spring, Maryland, bringing the prominent property once again to the forefront of Washington-area apartment living.
Stellar Management added a new resort-style pool and entertainment center to Enclave Silver Spring. The addition is proving to be very popular with residents and prospects, who are leasing the Enclave to nearly 100 percent capacity. It includes a large fitness facility, locker room, a game room, cyber café, business center and a great room for entertaining.
“We spared next to nothing in amenities at Enclave Silver Spring,” said Kent Eberhardt, Vice President for Stellar Management. “We have provided additional exercise facilities in individual buildings, dry cleaning services and even a Zen garden. With our proximity to dining, shopping and transit, Enclave is proving to be an excellent buy for our residents.”
Eberhardt said the 26-acre campus includes one, two and three bedroom apartment homes with gourmet kitchens with custom cabinetry and Energy Star GE appliances, new baths and a washer and dryer in each unit. The renovation also included façade improvements, new windows and an upgraded entry lobby in each building.
“We have received tremendous interest since the renovation,” Eberhardt said. “Our excellent location between downtown Silver Spring, University of Maryland and Walter Reed make us a popular choice for many young urban professionals, students and military families.”
Besides the new amenities, Enclave is a gated community that includes lighted tennis courts, tot lots, acres of green space and attractive landscaping.
As part of its grand re-opening marketing, Enclave Silver Spring has partnered with the local arts community, and initiated programs connected to local artists and performers. The new programs include a year-round art and entertainment program and an art scholarship contest for students and artists in Maryland, Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia.
