One of the best things to do this summer in NYC is seeing the beautiful sunset in the city. Luckily today at 8:12 pm and on July 12, 2017, you can experience the best sunset when the sun aligns perfectly with the Manhattan's east-west grid.

When is Manhattanhenge?
The two best days (known as “full sun on the grid”) take place on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at 8:12 pm, and Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at 8:20 pm. You can get a not-as-good-but-actually-still-pretty-great preview (known as “half sun on the grid”) on Monday, May 29, 2017, at 8:13 pm and Thursday, July 13, 2017, at 8:21 pm

Best cross streets are 14th, 34th, 42nd, and 57th since the street are wide to frame your shot.
